12ft 1/4" 6061 Hex Bar ordered ...yeay 12ft was a little much...but I just got as much as I could at the same shipping rate. I also ordered up a bunch of axial spacers in different sizes and a hitec servo programmer.

You can mount the shocks to the outside of the cab also, If you want to stand them up more. Or, you can put a second bend in those links making more of an S. Thats how Krawlfreaks are.

Either that, or you might need to go to a 50/50 setup. IIRC, Shelby had that truck setup as a 60/40 or even more bias toward the front....

A shorter shock and a slightly different bend would really help. I am running associated shocks from the front of an sc10. pretty short. I left my SB at krawlfreaks, but will put up some pics after I get my tires mounted up and show you what I did in the rear.

Ya know I wondered about mounting them at the last hole on the cab. I'm gonna play with some plumbers solder this coming week and see what I can come up with on the links that will allow me to run the shocks in the correct holes and provide a better transition for the bully axles. I think I'd lose too much of the wheelbase if I started bending these links up so I'll hang on to them like they are and try something a little different.

Is anyone running this new style chassis on the bully axles? I haven't found any that I remember and of the ones I did find there are very few shots showing how the upper links are mounted at the chassis and axles. I've found a few of JeremyH's setup, but they all have the skins/panels installed.

edit...racer_zh is, but he's using some delrin lowers in the rear...I'm just not going that direction.

Another question I had was what's the word on caster for the rear axle on these rigs? I was assuming neutral caster would be desired, but educate me how this works out for the rear...

My uppers are mounted at the chassis in the following positions:
Front - Middle row, closest hole to the center of the chassis
Rear - Middle row, closest hole to the rear of the chassis

However, keep in mind that I am running the older version of the chassis.

Yeah I got the shocks and servos installed and now I'm starting to wire it up. I'm gonna put it together this time without shortening wires and such since I'm not entirely sure how I'll want the electronics secured and where at in the chassis. I'l get it together and post some pics tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get to run it tomorrow after work
