congratulations. You put a TON into this rig. It must feel great to have something like that to show for it. You deserve it!

I would be hard pressed to build another chassis for this class. I couldnt be happier with this car in its current state.

An update on this build is long over due....

First up, I put my new knuckles on. I couldnt be happier. None of my cars could benefit from these knuckles as much as the super. My biggest issue with my RC4wd knuckles were the 12mm bearings. I milled out the knuckles for 14mm and that was a ton better but I still had to replace them every so often. So, lets fix the problem.

22mm bearings inside, 16mm out side. Problem solved..... forever....

Here is a cool shot of the bearings for the OFNA style shaft.

22mm, 16mm, 14mm, 12mm (stock bully)

My hope was to build the Delrin knuckles and get a lighter setup all in one shot.

Cast bully knuckle with 3 14mm bearings 14g

22mm bearing and 16mm bearing alone weigh 15g..... fail.... LOL

With the knuckle the whole assembly weighed in at 31g. Not quite the weight I was looking for but well worth the cost IMO

Here are some overall shots of the V1 knuckle. I really liked these but if youre following along.... they have been replaced by the V2 which I will post in just a second.

Incomes V2 knuckles. Same bearings as V1, 22mm inside, 16mm outside.

The fronts turned out pretty sweet. The weight is adjustable front to back to get them as close to the wheel as possible.

Finally, the thing I am most excited about!

When I was doing my sway bar for my sporty, Stubs mentioned that he always thought it would be cool to put sway bars on a super. I instantly thought it was a great idea! I have always known that my super needs stiffer springs but I hate them for so many other reasons so this is perfect! Putting theory to practice, I put it on and its an instant success! My car has never, ever driven so well.

Here is the sway bar that I am talking about. Its a universal setup so should work on most anything.

All I did was simply drill a hole in my existing chassis and add the sway bar. It probably took me 20 min to install.

Yeah, I it is pretty high. It has not hurt me that I know of. Driving upside down is still ridiculous and I can drive all around with no effort.

I cant mount the torsion bar any lower or it hits my upper links on compression. I could make the arms lower but I like them level with the ground at half travel. If I do see the height holding me back I will just make the end links shorter.

I think it's awesome it worked out! I have wanted a sway bar on my super since I built it. It looks super cool too!

Do you have one front and back or just on the back?

Just on the back.

As soon as I get some time I will try our idea and put one front and rear.

Using the sway bar in the back is unbelieveable in the difference that it makes, it works so good that I threw one on the front.
