BEAUTIFUL! Great work microgoat. I may have to sell some things to get the $$ for the chassis, I will admit I thought the price you had posted before was steep, but it looks to be well worth it. Great work! |

Must be nice to have the CNC do all the work. I have to mill everything by hand. The way a machinist would do it. Not a computer geek. Just kidding. Thats freakin awesome work man. I made a ladder frame but it came out a bit treaked. I think I'll sell it. |

rck, if a machinist did this by hand, he'd charge me a grand, and then he'd break both my legs. When you see how this all fits together jigsaw-style you'll see what I mean.

I know Goat, I'm taking a machining class currently so I know how much work would be involved. CNC's are so nice, if you have access. If not you tend to hate them. In a jealous way.

I really wish I could take credit for the CNC work, but all I did was draw the thing (with a pencil, no computers were involved). I've got a few bucks in these prototypes, most of it in programming. Seeing the pics makes me want to go back to school and learn this stuff for real. I envy the skills a real machinist takes for granted. When the real deal gets here I'll probably have to change my shorts. I'm severely excited about this thing. |

I should have the prototypes in about a week, give or take, and I'll know soon thereafter how much tweaking is needed for the production version. Not too much will be my guess. I'll start a thread in Vendors to discuss the selling details. |

The finishing touches are going on today, and it ought to ship out soon. With luck I'll have it early next week. Here's the skidplate, before finishing (yours won't say Prototype). The raised pad is where the tranny sits. |

Here's a little bling for ya, so the outside of the rails isn't quite so plain:
