Nice design principle!

Engraving looks nice.

Now send it through a vibratory polisher or a tumbler to knock the burrs off. ;)

These are the "sneak preview" pics, right off the mill. They'll be hand-finished before I ship 'em out, so the end product will look much better.

Hell, I haven't even seen this thing yet. Next week is the ETA. Still a little more aluminum to be cut

I've got a cool setup that you might be interested in to put a nice brushed finish on the parts.

Shoot me a PM and I'll send you details.

I can't wait to build it. This thing's been killing me since November. For an instant-gratification type like me, that's forever. The long hours and big bucks will finally come to life soon, but not....quite.....soon....enough.

Hell, if it was easy, anyone could do it.

Speaking of taking for-fawkin-ever, the prototypes were almost done when the air compressor at the CNC shop went down, which means no more mill work. I'm waiting on the electronics plates, which will have a Goat logo and a relief so the rear one doesn't get whacked by the shocks. Another twenty minutes and we'd have been done, but sheeit happens and this time it happened to me. Wah. (The original plan was to mill 'em down from the same 1/4-inch plate the rails were cut from, but that ended up looking like donkey crap, so another delay while we ordered thinner material, and now this. Argh.)

So I gots to wait til Monday night for the work to get done, which means Tuesday for shipping, if CNC-boy makes it to the post office in time. With luck I <should> have the prototypes by the weekend.

Sound familiar?

Yeah, I know. I haven't slept in about a month. I want to see this mofo real bad.

I'm guessing your going to be chasing a goat around the yard. Get that thing together. I am really anxious to see it done.
