Hi guys, just thought i would share my build with you USA guys

I made this stand to make it easy to work on...

I'll grab some pics of the finished layout (for now as least) tomorrow... Ive managed to put 3 packs through it and make a few changes, the first 3s lipo crapped itself on the first run (was new too) the next couple was a blast, got a 13t pinion but think i might go 14-15t...
Tonight i built up my second pair of shocks with the double o-ring kit and 40wt oil so i'll see how that goes tomorrow, with a bit of luck it will stop bouncing and not leak
My son snaped some pics while i was testing, hes not to bad with the camera so here they are

Shocks are far better with 40wt oil but will need to play with heavier oil when more arrives

Played with shock limiting a little, atm ive got 25mm rear & 11mm front but going to try 15mm front

Ive got some 1800mah 3s lipos on the way but needed to make some room for them
I shifted the front servo foward and changed the losi horn for the slim hitec one
before

after

I also lowered the rear servo mount... waiting on my new servo to replace this one

This is how it stands now after a few runs on it (got some Nova foams in now)

Not a huge change but im very surprised to notice a differance in how it crawls.. Ive got more goodies on the way to diet it more

And thats where im upto aside from trying different settings/oils/tyres etc trying to find what im happy with...

looks good bro, but i would ditch the alu c's. the stock are plenty strong and you lose a little steering with the chrc c's, its not much but you do. just my $.02

i would also ditch the hotracing motor clamp and get the rcbros motor clamp because it has a set screw to eliminate the possibility of the motor moving under load

Grind the front, or in your case, rear of the hubs, and you will get a much better steering angle. I did that, and it works great.

It was ment to be the rcbros motor clamp i ordered from ckrc (thats what was the photo when i ordered online) but i got sent a HR one.. it seems to do the job but it looks heavier than the rcbros one so will go on a diet also or swap for rcbros unit

Ive been loosing my wheels since the alloy rc4wd wheels are thicker and dont allow the wheel nut to tighten down enough for the nylon to hold... it missed by only 1mm

So i machined 1mm of each hex & 1mm off the back of each rim

After a couple packs no loose nuts so i think its fixed it

And after 2 months waiting ive received a brand new Nomadio React 4ch
It come with all the sensors etc and you wouldn't beleive how much i scored it for.... $250 the lot

I made some delrin links for my steering, im not 100% sold on delrin for the steering but i'll try them for a bit, did loose a small amount of weight...

Also made delrin links for the rear, they work great! ive made ones for the front but yet to fit them..

I shaved the motor mount to save a little weight too...

And now that ive learned how the use the f/r dig and avoid using rear steer ive outboarded the rear shocks and fitted some carbon fibre mounts.. also rewired to lower the wires and keep the weight low.. oh and im running full droop in front & semi droop in the rear...

Ive since replaced these steal balls with delrin..

Im now looking at loosing the rear steer and fitting a bug body
