| Allen wrench driver sets.....which is best?
The topic pretty well says it, I've lost or broken all of mine and need new ones, had the dynamite ones and the team losi ones, the dynamites were really shoddy, and the losi's I liked but they seemed to round a little bit... What ones have y'all had the best luck with and what's the cheapest place to grab em? |

I hear nothing but great things about Axial's tools. I myself use Pro-line's gear, But they discontinued them. If you can find a set, they are worth it. I also use HUDY, Which are expensive but excellent tools for RC |

how long have you had those integy ones, and define "a long time" because I'd say my team losi ones lasted a long time since they survived 3+ years, and the only reason I don't still have em is cause they're MIA....that and I need replacement tips

DO NOT BUY INTEGY. I have had 3 sets and they do not last. Its very few and in between you'll find decent Integy parts. Some of their shocks are awesome, but they have crap for tools. You build as much as I do and eventually you realize in the long run it was better to invest in better tools. My Hudy drivers 4 years, my Proline drivers 3 years, My Esky drivers 1 year and counting so far. But yes EDS is another great brand. and BTW the higher prices Dynamites are not bad and do last. I have those still from 8 years ago. The smaller hex drivers seem to break easier. But the larger ones are fine. |

so far I've narrowed it down to these choices.... http://edsracingproductsstore.com/in...od&productId=5 http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...rodID=LOSB4606 http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...odID=LOSA99109 (this one is exactly the set I already had, only real complaint was that the handles could have been a little bigger) http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...odID=LOSA99120 (nice when it comes in stock I think I'll get one of these regardless cause it'd be handy) http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...ProdID=AGNA262 http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXFWE7&P=7 http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXFWE6&P=7 I'd appreciate input on these sets...the last one here is the one that I'm leaning toward most as the ability to pop the bits into my screw gun to take out beadlock screws quickly would be fantastic, but, I'm not sure about the ratcheting handle and short length | |

I've had the Losi set....there cool, just don't feel great in your hand and the tips are not long. If ya want tools that will last your entire RC addiction buy the HUDY or EDS kit, and you'll like the longer tips. I've never used Axial or ProLine, but they look ok. What's nice about EDS is that you can buy the tips separately (they're only about 5bucks apiece.) And pretty much insert them into whatever handle I've got. Saves a little money.

I'm also looking for a good set. RC4WD sells a few sets that look pretty good. http://www.store.rc4wd.com/Tools_c_39.html |

MIP Thorpe drivers! Best ever made! EDS or Hudy would be a distant 2nd and 3rd.

I've had the integy set for many years with good luck but wanted a set that I could put in a drill driver for quicker beadlock building and went with EDS set and they are definitely quality. In situations where I was stripping with the integy drivers the EDS have had no issues. Link to the set I got..... http://edsracingproductsstore.com/in...&productId=162 |

| hex drivers
I've been using the usa made moody brand drivers for three months and have been very impressed. When I bought these the guy at the lhs said he would life time waranty them. I think he knew I would have to work real hard to destroy them.
