Still a work in progress but this was a beat down TRX-4 rescue. So far, it is turning out well.

Body: Traxxas 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer.
Chassis: Standard TRX-4
Servos: The transmission and front/rear diff locks are OEM.
Steering - Savox SA-1230SG
Motor: Crawlmaster Sport-550
ESC: Quicrun WP1080 (Stock BEC)
Rims: Que-T 1.9" alloy beadlock
Tires: PROLINE 1012414 Bf Goodrich All-Terrain Ko2 1.9 G8 Compound Rock
Terrain Tires
Light kit: Traxxas OEM standard.

Not sure what I missed but this body style is stunning... Just don't know why my pics are always sideways...

I got an awesome 3D printed canopy for my Trx4 Defender on my birthday, Now it's painted up and installed! The Canopy was designed and 3D printed by majorscale.rc on instagram, and prepped and painted by myself and a family member who works at a paint shop, and colour-matched the paint to the car. I'm super happy with how it turned out, the doors are attached with magnets and can come off to put stuff in the canopy, and overall I just love it!

Oh and also got a winch for it as well. I made a winch controller out of an old servo and mounted it on the front inside the original casing.

All of the gears inside were removed except for the one connected to the potentiometer so I can adjust it without having to take the body off if the line starts to 'creep'.

Really happy so far . I should mention it's not an actual rc4wd warn winch, it's just an ebay copy, but it seems to be working fine so far. It's plugged into the 4th channel on my FlySky GT5, which is a convenient 3-position switch, so it's really easy to use.

I finally got my Sport body put together and painted. Not a realistic paint scheme like some of you do but didn't think it turned out too bad for a rattle can job.

I used tamiya spray paint.
For the body first a did a coat of Pearl on the blue areas
then transparent blue and then metallic blue.
Hood, bed and fenders are gun metal

I am thinking of scuffing the fenders and hood to make a more flat sheen, or perhaps spray the outer parts with a flat clear lacquer? Anyone have any suggestions to get a flat sheen? I have never done it myself before.

Decided since the Hobbywing Axe install my wiring for my lights was sloppy.

So after a few painstaking hours it’s done. Could have been a little better, but I used what I had on hand.

I like it!

That is going to be really sharp when the sun hits it with the heavy metal flake in the paint!!

That is super cool!

Very unique and the color scheme/contrast is great!

Thanks, GRC sells conversion kit for that when you use their from motor relocation kit. looks cool but fans on top of the motor will be more efficient. I have one too with the heatsink in the shape of v8 engine. That I decided not to install it.

Sold the truck to Chief Hopper. He was a little liquored up when he bought it so he overpaid - I don't feel bad for taking advantage of him...

I finally got the XtraSpeed cantilever kit working as intended, so I can continue on my new body.
Also ordered a Spektrum 5-channel receiver so I can bind it to my DX5 Rugged to replace my FrSky stick tx/rx
