Same pic as the other day. I've been looking at my Ascenders and noticed it's interesting how the two rear most bodypost mounting holes are way low in the rear crossmember almost like Vaterra wanted us to mount TF2/Bruiser bodies on these! I like it! |

of the chassis, are higher, that is they have a lower depth, my drop bed is handmade Today i was in a mechanical workshop to take a central transfer case Is very small, see a comparative with the transfer case GCM : Comparative weight : my transfer case 45 grams, GCM transfer case 62 My transfer case have a possibility to change gears, ratio range is 1:1 - 1:42, overdrive included and output for transmission shafts with inverse rotation

I guess your bed is dropped more than even TF2. Are the transfer case screws enough to locate the two case halves? Last edited by Natedog; 01-18-2016 at 03:45 PM. |

My need is to have a performant Class 1 , with a mechanical/suspensionconfiguration with all points scaler The 4 screws of the transmission cover with holes are very precise measures decimals. Transmission installed, here it is where I wanted to, especially the height of the motor / transmission, side view : Side view from below: Seen from above, the measures of this transmission allows for installation between the shock Towers

That looks awesome, I love the low CG of motor/transmission and leaf springs in line directly under the frame rails! Nicely shimmed leaf spring mounts to get them exactly where you want them. That motor is low, it must side-hill like a mountain goat! |

Very nice my friend. I like how you did the over and under on the transfer case. Looks simple but very strong. You definitely have a comp worthy Ascender. |
