A little update on the Bulldog. I made some seats today, I wanted something that would go with the paint. I came close!

When I started this thread I said it would have a wench and a winch, here is the wench and her driver.

Working on getting the interior in order and mounted.
Also got the two speed servo mounted and the end points set.

All for now, thanks for looking.
Ernie,

I enjoy the builds more than I do the driving.
What is wrong with your Ascender?

Thanks Pete, the 2 speed helps with some climbing situations, as well as trailing!

Just wanted to let all of you to know that the ascender axle housings are on back order until the middle of September, about the same time I will be closing the shop until the first of November. I have two sets left until then, first come first serve, and one of those sets is pending.
Ernie,
I can still do the Cody Boy steering and knuckle weights until I close the shop.

What if someone were to have a bunch of empty housings that were replaced by your, I must say, awesome, front axles and wanted some made? Can you make rears out of a front housing?

Hey Bud thanks for asking, I could use them if they are in good shape. I could do a disclaimer and discount on them. I can make fronts and rears out of front and rear housings. Do you want to share?
Ernie,

And Nate, Jon and Pete, your stickers are in the mail!!!! Now is that service or what?
Ernie,

Ernie,

Ernie,
Well, I have the 2 that I replaced with yours, lightly used. But several local places near me have housings in stock. If you are looking for some more, I could pick them up and send them along to help with the cost of making our used ones into rears for mine and the little lady's trucks.

Ernie,
I will be passing several shops on my way to crawl on Sunday. I will pick up a few sets for you and send them out to you. I will be looking to get 2 rears off you so, we can work something out.

Sounds good, I like to barter, and 2 rears it will be. I will start on some brass this week.

I take a ascender axle housing and machine them to take brass beef tubes. They add 2oz of nonrotating weight to the fronts and 2.75 oz to the rear. This helps lower the COG, adding a little stability to your truck. If you go through my thread you can learn a little more about them.

Also had time to get started on another batch of axles.

Here is a set with Codyboy steering on the front.

Hope that helps with your question.
Ernie,
