Sorry to say I will not be working on the Bulldog Bronco until we get back from our trip. But here is a little info for you.

Just a note to remind you that Codyboy Design will be closed until November 10th.
The other thing is that Marcia and I are now on a coast to coast to coast for the road trip for next 45 days. Some of you thought it might be fun to post about our happenings every day. So here is the link for that.
Codyboy Coast to Coast to Coast in 45 days!!
Also I have two sets of beef tube axles with me that I can mail out along the way. First come first serve.
Ernie,

Have a safe, memorable and fun trip, Ernie! Looking forward to your post about your trip. During your trip if you find yourself in the North West corner of Missouri give me a shout

Hey Jon, thanks. PM me a contact number and we will do that. We are going to stop and see Poprivet so we will be in that general part of the country.

This one has a SSD ascender C hub, and Wraith knuckle. The reason being, it also has the axial uni and larger inner and outer bearings. I think I could do the same set up with a SSD ascender knuckle and ascender CVD. My thought are, if you're going to spend the money for a upgrade, you might as well go with the axial uni and larger bearings.

Thanks. I might have to get the SSD C-hubs. I'm still using the stock and I was planning on getting the Vaterra flavor, but I like that SSD modified the geometry a little bit.

What is wrong with your Ascender?
Ernie,

I am the same way. Spends at least as much time on my bench trying things as it does driving, if not more...

WOW!!! Good to hear from you Brian, yeah I just have to tinker in my shop and why not make a little money doing it.
Right now we are crossing off a huge item that was on our bucket list. A cross country trip, Coast to Coast To Coast in 45 days. Spent the night in Gillette Wyoming and headed to the Dakotas this morning. If you want to follow along we have a travel thread in the chit chat section. I will shoot you a PM later!

Ok gang, I promised when we got back from our trip I would reopen the shop.
I think I have contacted everyone who PM while on our trip to let them know I have some weight axles ready to ship. I have a few new things in the works for down the road, we will see how things work out.
So let me know if your ready for some non-rotating weight down low on your ascender.
The trip was great and we met so many new friends!!!
Ernie

Also time to get back on this build!!!

Had a little time to work on the Bulldog Bronco today; mounted my shifting servo.

Also made a hinged battery holder.

And some different tires and wheels.

Thanks for looking.

Ernie

Thanks Nate, Photobucket has been giving me fits lately!!! I think they are all back now. It will not let me load photos into my build folders.
Put your Gullwing sliders in the mail today, let us know how they work out!
Waiting to hear if Pete would like me to send him a set?

Ernie looks amazing, did you build your front mount transmission brackets or use some from a vendor? If you built them a couple pics would be awesome (there might be some back in the thread but i couldnt find it and a bunch of pics wernt working)
