Turned out that the Solar D772 has stripped gears so I swapped in an eBay 20kg servo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Finally got the silly tint off the windshield.... And cut out the driver’s window... Pinched the front... Built a fake toolbox for a Velcro body mount.. Mocked up a roll cage... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Finished the tool box Velcro body mount, it holds so good I’m afraid I’m gonna tear the body taking it off.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Lol. What did you do to get the all mighty peepee mad and boot you!? I'm liking the pinched nose on the blazer by the way. I was amazed how easy the lexan was to work with and if cut cleanly, the seams are very hard to see. Ben |

I told Eeeepeee that the forum is better without him and he banned me and then I came back with another username and told him he couldn’t even ban someone right and he banned that username lol Your build inspired me to pinch and bob and I’m happy with the outcome. The bob came out pretty good, but the pinch has big gaps and I’m contemplating using body filler and painting the outside... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk | |

thanks for the compliment. I used 3m automotive spot filler as it's easy to work with, it cracks and has no flex so take that for what it's worth. I only had the slightest of a gap in one spot,( not to toot my own horn) and it's cracked from body flex, not the joint, just the filler. Pinching isn't my thing but yours looks good. Yeah, I read the post that was the end of spaceman lol. May he rest in pieces lol. Some day, I may join the band too. Ben |

I’m not a huge fan of the pinch either, by last weekend I saw the performance benefits. Last season, my kid ran one comp with the almost stock Ascender and finished second to last and I’m pretty sure he’ll do better this season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Mask off gaps at joints with tape, then use E6000 and your finger to smooth it out. Immediately remove masking tape, let dry 24 hours and repeat if needed, less is more here because it’s not really sandable. When it’s fairly smooth and level, outside paint with lexan paint, work great. Nice kitty pic, you kinda had a group picture with them several post back. |
