Check your ESC programming for battery chem type. Mine was set to NiMH instead of LiPo. :/
This is disappointing for numerous reasons. Mainly because this is not included in your manual. You have to download the Dynamite ESC PDF online for programming instructions.

I just ordered a set of new wheels and tires from RPP Hobby. They are supposed to be slightly heavier then the stock wheels because they are delrin with aluminum hubs and they don't have a shit load of screws in the beadlocks.

I will be weighing them individually to compare against the stock wheels/tires.

I put the wrong link in my post, I ordered the 4.19" tires which are just a little shorter then the stock tires. I think the 4.75" tires might be to tall for the high speed action.

Those wheels are sweet. Cac EZ locs, right? But cross promoted with Gear Head? I have the 2.2s, and they are so easy to work with.

I really wanted those wheels for my twin hammers and actually have the spare wheel sitting on my desk but they don't fit the stock tires and I didnt want to get new tires for a new rig with good tires.

It would only be my second crawler and I am more into the crawling aspect but like scale more than comp

I know what you mean by not wanting to buy new tires because the stock ones work well.

I did forgot to mention that I bought the RC4WD tires as a backup if I can't get the stock tires to fit. Since the bead is so much wider on the stock tires I'm planning on trying to trim the bead to get them to fit. I will post up my results.

I did test fit one of my 5000mAh hardcase lipo's and said that I had to jam it between the rear shock towers but it still won't slide down properly in front of the spare tire.

The 5000mAh pack is just to large for this rig IMO and I wouldn't even bother trying any more then I already did to get it to fit because of how heavy it is. I'm perfectly happy with my 3S 2200 lipo's and the 45 min to 1 hour of run time I get on each pack. I have 10 of them because I use the same packs for all my crawlers.

This rig is a lot of fun stock and an absolute kick in the pants with brushless and 3S power.

Having my SCX10 crawler and now my Twin Hammers rock racer, I really don't need any other rig to satisfy my R/C crawling needs. They are the perfect compliment to each other and are two rigs that I will bring with me when ever I have the opportunity to play.

Haha, yeah it wouldn't help me at all either if I tried. When I was going through the video near the end of making it the wife was in the office playing a game on her computer and looked over and said "you think anyone is going to watch that? It looks stupid to me."
