In the end, what I disliked most was working on it. Driving it was fun although it felt like it lacked the feel that I have had with any of my previous 1.9's. I wanted to like it, I wanted to want to upgrade it, but every time I looked at the TH it just made me dread removing the shit hardware and having to disassemble half the truck to look inside.
It's a fairly easy mod to make it have only 6x 2mm hex drive screws to take the whole cage off. And as far as I know that's one of the easiest exo cage to remove.

I'm aware of how they attach and such.

The vehicle as a whole just didn't do anything for me. Wished it would have but it just felt empty to drive it. The design had some cool features that I liked but at the same time, nothing I ever wanted to work on.

I'd rather buy another SCX.

I think I feel the same way about the twammer as you. The way it looks crawling slow is just weird and its not strong enough for big power so what's the point? I can't make myself like it.

Well people are different, I have two scx kits just laying around cus I'm to busy with my Twin Hammers.

I'm even quite happy with its stock speed. And stock drivetrain can handle the brushless justock hobbywing sensored system if someone wants a bit more speed.
