Any advise for the build of my Gmade piggybacks as I saw you already built 2 pairs?
Cheers
All of the "elbow grease" has been attributed to roll overs, rocks, flips, and a slap of duct tape for color.
The Gmade piggybacks leak from the top seal if it's not tight. Also, after oiling the internal o-ring cartridge, put a dab of grease on the top o-ring before sliding the shaft through it. This can help prevent leakage and damage to the o-rings. Be patient and take your time when bleeding them too. Slowly filling the body is the best way to limit how much air gets trapped in them. Be sure to SLOWLY slide the piston assembly into the body so you don't trap air under the piston.

I have 93mm on the front of mine and wish they were piggybacks, but the reservoirs won't fit with the stock front cage with my upright kit.

Yeah, unless you make them truly vertical like the BMRC set up or just say bollocks and do your own full tube cage to incorporate shock hoops.

What are your 2.2 plans? Are you going for the comp or trophy class?

Trophy. It's ambitious, but I love the scale details on those rigs. It's going to be a long process, but hopefully it will pay off.

New outdrives, relocating steering servo back to the chassis for more steering (clearance problem with the top mount plate), removing shifter servo (need to lock into 2nd gear), front shock bumpstop removal to replace with O-rings, new body panels, fabbing billet trailing arms.

Yeah, the outdrives were shot though. Lots of pin gouges so the shafts don't slide smoothly and cause binding. The uptravel is limited by the large bumpstops that Gmade includes with the shocks. I want to extend the rear end a tad, so longer trailing arms are needed. I figure, seeing as how I have a mill at work, it's time to make a set.
