So the twin hammerz made it through the gruesome auburn u4 track, without a hitch.. This thing is really indestructible, my son podiumed with it taking third out of like 12 cars.. That puts him up in the points series too.. Lookout Rastas hammerz coming through..lol...

This isn't a pic of the 1.9 comp class but it has three members of the dreadnecks racing team (jared, Alex and, Johnny)and if you can't see the one with the hat on, that is Brian Parker from the axial g6 events. We kicked his ass in u4 yesterday.. Lol..
Fun running with ya Parker.. Let's do it again..

This hammerz is almost indestructible, we never break anything, only have to tighten a few things up after racing U4, and mostly in my steering but since this last race nothing is loose(love that locktite)everything is tight and ready for next months U4..

I have herd of a ball bearing steering upgrade that can fix that.
Loctite is my friend as well.

If you look back in my thread I did a traxxas bell crank steering upgrade.. Love it...U4 is just extremely hard on your vehicle especially my 2.2 rigs just cuz they are heavier..but this hammerz just pushes through.. I've upgraded it to the max and it definitely needed it to be a winner on the podium for sure..

I still have a porta-power from my body shop days and a 30,000 lb PTO winch on the M35A2. One way or another we can get them out.

Question, what size hubs do guys run on there hammerz when they want a wider track? I'm gonna change my wheels and tires and run some vanquish wheels, what's a good hub size to start with? Just curious.... .350?

I talked with vanquish some time ago and they said with the method wheels the .350 hubs would be the closest to stock width. I do not have the method wheels to confirm because they have been out of stck for ever. Hope this helps

The rules at u4rc says you can have a max width of 11.5 in.. So i wanna get that as wide as possible. Probably go with .550 hubs..
Sr.irie i tbink CKRC has method wheels in stock...

Looked at CKRC I think they have more 1.9 method wheels than anyone but still no green and black . No matter I think I have decided to go with some other wheels now anyway.
