So i got some cvds from irie. Im planning on installing them this week, with a full report on the install and durability of these cool. Axles...
So far by just looking at them in there package(wish i had a pic for ya) they look like they will fit the bill just perfect.. Wondering if ill get a little more steering outta it too? Wondering if anyone reading this besides irie himself who has these allready installed in there ride? And what they think of theze cvds?

Been so busy I still haven't done the install yet, maybe this weekend I'll find some time... I got two other builds going and maintenance on several other rigs as well plus my kids and I race indoor off-road weekly at amain hobbies track so we have to maintain our race cars as well.. I hope to have it done before KOH.. Cuz the hammerz is gonna be at hammertown....

Your son did a great job! The 1st and 3rd place finishers kept the cantilever suspension? Interesting.

Just got done looking through your thread, glad to see that you are back on here and active. Liking your setup and love the track that you built in your backyard. Wish I had the land to do that! Keep up the good work and keep the post coming.

Some of the guys are running there hammers pretty stock besides upgrading electronics.. As for the rasta hammers it's all tricked out.. My son will be back in the drivers seat for the next season at auburn and he's planning on some domination..

Thanks for taking a peek at my thread, long build which keeps going..
Yes having a track of our own helps us keep up on practice when we can't get to auburn..

Man I didn't know you had a TH. When I finish mine I need to make a trip up to your track to see how it dose.

I saw a trick on the twin hammers show and shine facebook page where they used Associated b44 rear arms on the front with traxxas XO shafts that the wheel side cvd is a bolt up to the twin hammers. You have to use XO or slash/pede FRONT diff side gears and spiders in your stock housing....looks awesome a bolt on fix to the dogbones!!

Oh and I too had irie axles and they are excellent in terms of strength and upgrade but I put on a blue monkey tower with limited 85 gmades and just want to use all travel and not worry about chucking bones I have a buddy that is in the process of cutting and tug welding slash mil to the twins cvd but I like the xo shafts looks a lot better

I've never had a problem
With my cvd's falling out.. I'm using team associated t4.1 rear shocks in the front of my hammerz.. I have some limiting in them, but I've forgotten how much.. Been running this rig for over two years.. Maybe even three years now..

The link he is referring to is basically doing what Codyboy did, running the wider B4.1 arms with longer CV axles and gaining more travel. They are still trying to confirm if it works and what not though.
