does the DIM controller actually reduce the Volts on each step down? if yes do you happen to have that data on each step and the Volts for 2s and 3s thanks. |

| ![]() The dim controller does not reduce the voltage with each step. It switches on and off rapidly in order to reduce the amount of power that reaches the lighting. This is the way most ESCs work too.

I've got to give Al a huge Thank You ! I've been bugging him quite a bit about the wiring on my latest project and he's been nothing but super helpful and ultra patient with my not so brainiac questions. Not only do you make some awesome electronic products but you have the patience of an angel. Thank you !

I have a TZI Beefy winch which I run with one of Al's Relay Winch Controllers. I use a Futaba 4PL. I was using the Slide Switch (SW2.SLD), but recently reconfigured the controller to use the Digital Trim 4 (DT4) and controlling the winch works so much better. I hope this helps you.

I'm probably just being dense but I'm having some problems figuring out what I need. I've searched this forum, the internet and watched videos.. I have an old airtronics M11 with a spectrum tx module and a spectrum SR3000 receiver and Holmes hobbies brxl esc. I'm using a 3s battery and I'm wanting to hook up a 2.4 ghz 3racing winch. I don't have a bec yet but was planning to get the castle creation 10amp. Is the 4 amp relay output winch controller with jst plug the one I need? Thanks!! |

Thanks for checking out my electronics! You typed "2.4 ghz 3racing winch." If you mean a 3racing winch, yes, the 4 amp relay output winch controller with JST plug will work for you. You mentioned that you run a 3S battery so this controller will put the full 3S voltage to the winch. Might be a little much for it, but people do it all the time. Otherwise, use the No Drift Winch Controller! (using 3 position transmitter channel) and it will put receiver voltage to the winch (as long as you don't run more that six volts to your receiver. Hope that helps. Feel free to send me a PM and we can work out what is best for you. Al
