Default Delrin battery axle mount

I seen it in a pic somewheres.. Tell me more about it. I am very interested.

I have a new XR Mantis chassis built here and have no place to put my old batteries. I would like to keep the BWD theme I have going on.

thanks for making some wicked chassis.

Not sure if this is the right place for it, but I just got a pair of bent links in the mail today which looks like they are for the mantis chassis I ordered on release.
I checked the build instructions on your site but it looks like the standard straight links are being used
I was just wondering if they were for the front upper or lowers.

Cool! Something I noticed when trying out the axial cover was that you cannot fit MIP CVDs or scx10/ax10 plastic stock shafts with the reinforcment rings. No clearance. Only a wraith shaft would work.

In my case I run a smaller 80t spur so a bit more clearance would work on the axial cover. The 87t has no extra room to heat and bend for more clearance.

I recently ordered the Mantis chassis/topper from our local crawl shop (the Crawl Space).
Could someone give me the hyper-links to the assembly instructions and panel templates for the chassis? I want to be ready to go when I receive the new kit!

I had some issues with my domain name and that has had my site off and on recently. I think we are just about done resolving the issue tho!

just put in an order last night for a xr mantis with the dub top ......i was wondering i have read in quite a few posts that guys were having issues with the front links binding and it has been said that you will be sending guys new bent links to over come this issue.

my question is this. are you sending new orders with the bent links and just dont show it in pics on the site

i will be running VP trans cases and motor plates with the VP link mounts front and back with the new VP front and rear alluminum axle tops.

will there be any issues with these links with this setup

i have been watching lots of mantis videos and i am so stoaked to get mine i cant wait for it .....probably wont get much sleep till it gets here

i am looking forward to runnin this in our club for the new season

It'll work great with your setup. All kits now include machined/clearanced front uppers and they will work with what you've got.

Hello Billet works. I'm thinking you guys are hard to reach. Your site seems to not want direct contact. What's the best way for a serious customer?

Secondly, Is the formula kit available or delayed during October 2011

Sorry for the delay, email sent. All foff parts and kits are in stock except the 12.5 whiplash kit. The 13.5 is the best all around kit. 12.5 would be my choice for mostly big air while the 14.5 would be my pic for mostly extreme hill climbs. All will dazzle when it comes to extreme water crossing action.

Just wondering how close you are to having the Mantis ready for Super?

I made a very poor immitation that I called the Super Black Mamba and it works great but is way to heavy. I would luv to be one of the first with your new Super Mantis chassis so I can throw the black mamba out.

check it out! http://s276.photobucket.com/albums/k...20and%20Super/

That's pretty sick for a home build! Needs BWD Motor Sav'rs tho

I've gotta get a second set of Super Bully axles as one of my drivers has my Super right now. The Super Mantis is on it's way back tho

I agree with you about the motor savers.
Thanks for the comment on the home build, I had so much money invested in the axles, motors, servos and tires that I went cheap and used a cutting board for the chassis.

Is there a way to put me on the list for the Mantis chassis when available?

Be more then happy to test for you too.

Ordered the extreme foff 4bolt axial motor plate on Saturday. Can't wait to get it. Abouts when should it ship out? Combining this with vp trans case and rr gears for my bullet proof setup. Thx for such great and innovative products.
