WTF
im woundering if this problem isnt with your ESC, but your radio its self. what radio system r u running? and what kind of servo r u running? my problem is with my radio no having a very good connection with the RX on the truck.

Im using a flysky fs-gt3b

The servo is Savox.

Tonight I will try to move the receiver around in the truck to get better signal...

I started a thread under electronics for this issue:
ESC when turned on will only move forward 100%

I just bought a modded up losi micro crawler. I have some BIG plans for it.

See how crazy the chassis pitches when I forcibly roll the rc?

Is this normal?

I would say that is not normal. I even had to try it with mine......nothing near that.

You either have a bind in the tranny or your mesh between the pinion and spur is too tight.

Putting the power directly to the wheels (by hand) and the bind is making the chassis twist in the direction the driveshaft is turning.

I'd start by popping the inspection plug off the back of the trans and check the pinion.

check that rear axle too. it looks like your rear axle is not centered with the chassis and that could cause other problems later on. i'd say check your axle pins also. if not i would deff check the trans like what sledrig said

Yeah I need to adjust the lengths of one of the rear links but I have been waiting for the new RMDW chassis so I have been procrastinating on working on it untill then. After much painful troubleshooting I ordered an FXR esc. my rooster runs like a chicken with its head cut off...

The pinion gear meshing seems fine.

Sorry we couldn't help you reach a definitive answer to your ESC/motor issue.
You will be happy with the FXR, it's tiny!

I've just been waiting for the new XR chassis for the last couple months.

I am waiting for that before I redo the links.

I cut the memory foam part of my double douce foams. That's about it...

I've been so bored I bought a losi micro!

Your wheel weights look just like what I did for asw27x back in the spring. I believe they were ~7oz each.

My machinist is one of the best...he just had some life issues that got in the way of forward progress...I know Ive been there...many of you have seen Mr. Murphy give me a run for my money...the machinist had to take care of his family first....thats all I really know. I cannot and wont ask anyone to be patient...not when they have spent money on parts and havent seen a return yet. I will say this though...I dont think anyone is chomping at the bit like I am.

My comment was not directed towards you (I believe you knew that), having dealt with shops before as well as doing my own side-work, this was the basis for my post.
