Yeah I would get the lincoln lockers too. A few posts back is a picture of what happens to the plastic diff cases after a while. I had to go back into them and JB weld them and they have worked fine since then <fingers crossed>

These are the foams I am running:

HB WD Rover & 5.5 Double Deuce Foam Combo

Front Inners: Firm Inners
Inner Front Width: 2.00
Front Outers: Soft Outers

Rear Inners: Firm Inners
Inner Rear Width: 2.00
Rear Outers: Medium Outers

What do you guys think of this setup?
I think I need to at least cut stars out of the rear outers...

I'm almost done installing the btl front plate. What do you guys use to keep the front link from flopping down and hitting the battery? I tried using a long bolt through the third hole between the servo mounting holes. It looks like your using a flat thing...

Noah,,,the bolt I used is about 1 1/4" long and I just cut after I installed it to be the right length...you can also use shorter rod ends and adjust the bend in the tie rod a little to compensate...let me kno if you need more info etc...didn't mean to leave you hantin with it.

Here's my setup. I moved my battery to the rear and added weights to the front.

Should I be using the rubber grommets between the servo and the plate or not? I've seen it done both ways.

RIG IS COMING ALONG , I'M WITH THOMAS ON THE GROMMETS, THEY ARE FOR RIGS THAT USE SERVO SAVERS TO LIGHTEN THE SHOCK, LIKE YOU WOULD GET FROM SAY A NITRO MONSTOR TRUCK. OUR RIGS ARE MUCH SLOWER MOVING AND USSUALLY DO NOT HAVE THE HIGH IMPACT ISSUES. UNLESS OF COURSE YOU TUMBLE DOWN A LARGE HILL.
