As far as styrene goes, it's fairly soft so it should take dye pretty well (never actually tried it though). Like you said, paint would prolly scratch easily.

P.S. You GOTTA throw some lights on that thing, all the cool kids are doin' it!

It's my new 2.2 scale rig, trying to keep up with you. I'm working on the light thing next. I managed to squeeeeeeeze a 5000mAh 2s and the electronics in there.

I'm not sure about that. I have a 5000 2s mounted on top but we'll see.

Blew the dust off the bronco and lowered the chassie with help from old spice fabrications trying to finger out how to mount the servo and hopefully it will be done by the 21st also xr10 blew another gear so thats out of commision till i get the gooder parts need almost $200.00 to do it right so that will be sitting for a spell

Right on function or form, who cares what it looks like long as it crawls. Back in my watercooled PC days I built a rig with a purple hold down(looked pink). Didn't look good but did it job til the waterblock maker made a new hold down. IT was good for a few laughs til they seen the temps I had.
