My self and Kasper will be there, and as to TDawgs comment on putting you name with up coming dates that is what was suggested when the food idea was first discussed at kaspers...

Okay, 8 so far. Remember to let me know if these counts need to be adjusted if you're bringin' family or whatnot. I'll check back later on today to get a more solid number before I call this in. I'll probably get a few extras, but wanna make sure there's at least enough. If you think there's a fairly good chance someone else will show, get 'em on the list.

I'll be there around 4- 4:30ish...

edit* would've loved to make it, but I couldn't make it till after 5:30, hardly pays to be 2.5 hours late...

At least it won't affect my standing in the comps...

Thanks to all who came out to play, and thanks to Trubble for making the trip to check out the WiRCRC crew and the eats. The turnout was a little light this time around, I know we can do better. So dust off your rock machines and drag your sorry carcasses to the next comp!

With the deer hunting season over, I should be able to make the rest of the comps Looks like the next one is at Kasper's on Dec. 17th.

I have no problem taking my turn with suppling the food at some point either.

Had a great time. Saw some things that certainly opened my eyes.

I'll have it going by the new years comp for sure.

What kind of rig did you comp with and how well did you do? First time right?

Yeah, first time, essentially box stock AX-10 w/ some colored links. Glad I put 'em on, they're nice and pretty, and I got to see 'em....... a LOT! If the goal was crawlin', it was an epic fail. Don't think I got past gate 4 on any course I ran (before pointing out). Plus 90-something, if that gives you any idea.
But, My goal was to see what I was getting into, meet some people, and glean some knowledge. Met some really cool people, had a great time.

Trubble, one mod to start with is getting a small crawler battery pack and mount it on the front axle (weight down low). Small cost=big improvement . Hope you can make a few more comps, WiRCRC is always happy to have new crawlers join the ranks.

Congrats on getting an XR-10, gonna comp with us when it's all done?

My RCX-mas present is new tires and rims, new 2 cell race lipo and a nice 17.5 motor for my short course truck...it's adding up quick . The truck is now capable of winning races, too bad the driver isn't! The upside is that for the $$$ spent, I can race it every Saturday and Sunday all winter if I want. Now if I could only get some of my crawler buddies to come and race with me.

Got my first win today in Stock Shortcourse . Took 1st in the B Main and bumped up to the A. Took 5th place in the A due to having a slightly slower truck and being rusty but I think I'm gettin' the hang of this going fast in the dirt thing!

Mesmerized them with your shiny new race battery, and took the win while they were lookin' at the sparkly stuff, eh? j/k, Good job on your finishes.

Maybe I should add some uber-bright headlights like on my crawler . Then the corner marshals would find my truck quicker and put me back on the wheels!
