WTF? On your property they push you out of the way; try to open your car door etc. They are some brazen, ballsy mofos. Beckley...Are you in West Va? Take some of the $500 and get a motion activated camera. Hell, get a couple of them and nail these bastards. I would suggest something more than clean the guns but I don't want to be party to a crime.

Yeah i live in a suburb of beckley W.Va. We have security night vision cameras here. If they come around they're caught. Plus they walked right by it twice without noticing it already. I am going to go out in a minute and get the prints off the car as a precaution. Was told that the police are too busy to run prints unless there is a body. If they try to come in my home there will be a body and i will have the prints waiting for them. I don't want to sound threatening but i will protect my family. I've only been married for six months and i want to have a long life of picking on her! Shes been awesome throughout all of this, and i am sure she is looking forward to to the next hundred years of picking on me "thumbsup"

Finally went to sleep shortly after sunrise this morning only to have to be at the doctor's office at 10. My butt is dragging now. No one came last night but the locks and doors were messed with at about eight this evening. Looks like they tried to rip the doors off the hinges not thinking that the locks would hold. They didn't get into anything and luckily we got a description of the getaway vehicle so that a step into the right direction. Wish i could go a week without having to be in my back yard with a d-cell maglite and a pistol. Luckily I've got understanding neighbors who watch out for me and my family. Police said they would send a patrolman by and that was almost six hours ago. At least its on record that we called. Hope to sleep a little tonight.

X2 on this one. It helps. I have two pitbulls(used to have three) and they won't let you anywhere near my house without making it known to the neghborhood. You would think that the neighbors would hate me, but they have all told me how greatful they are. We have tweakers around here like crazy.:roll:
One of mine, the brindle one, is a Pit/Rot mix, The big guy, is a red nose pit, and the little guy is a Cocker/pit mix. Awesome with kids and protect the house."thumbsup"

Had the HHR messed with again. Alarm went off late last night, went out in the typical noise checkin' attire of boxer shorts, maglite and handgun. The person ran into the woods across the street and i didn't really get a good look, just heard the footsteps in the leaves. They didn't get in (thank you ONSTAR and GM security, had a call from ONSTAR less than five minutes after the alarm activation) but the hand prints are on the hatch and the drivers rear door. I'm glad i don't keep any valuables in the car and that my windows are tinted. The locks on the storage buildings weren't touched yesterday or today, so thats a good thing. The security cameras have not caught anything concrete yet but when they do I will be turning the evidence over to the state police to handle.

I really hope you get these bastards,I can't imagine you've got a good nights sleep since.If you know where they are sneaking on to your property how about a well placed piece of plywood with a bunch of nails sticking thru it to slow them down.Get midevil on their asses!

I would love to do that. I have thought about doing that with some small roofing nails but unfortunately i would be held liable for their injury under WV state law. The only way i can do something is if they are in my home. Not my workshop, my storage buildings, or even breaking into my car. I am liable for any injury sustained on my property. I miss the days when a man could protect his property as he saw fit. My dad put an SKS to a burglars face when i was a kid and we never had an issue with it again. Now if a burglar bangs his head while hot wiring my car i could have to pay his medical bills according to the County Sheriff's Office. Laws here are made in such a way that it only protects the criminal, not the homeowner.

I had problems with theft down my road. HAD. On many different occasions tweakers break into all the cars on the street and ransack the hell out of them. Then one day, my buddies truck, trailer, and Jeep were stolen out of our driveway one morning and then recovered TOTALLED about 45 minutes later. Since then, we have came up with some of the most devious boobytraps we could hide, and it has worked. We have a crazy surveilance system now as well. Not a single person on our road has been messed with since.
There was a tweaker that would rip through on his dirtbike and scope the place out at odd hours.....till we put up a wire that hit him right at chest heighth. close lined the hell out of him. He aint been back. There are trip wires galore in the field by our house. NOBODY has any business out there. There was a hole in this fence that the guy on the bike and other tweakers used to gain access to the field. Well, we also set up a trip wire or two across that. We have witnessed some funny ass shit when people fly into it! :ror: Needles to say, that hole don't get used no more. I no longer feel the need to have my 9 and my shotgun with me when I am out in the garage.
Whatever you do. YOU MUST make life hell for them too!!!!! DO NOT let them get the better of you. Make it hurt every time they come around. Let it be known that coming near your place will bring on the pain. Make it different every time too, as to where they cannot get used to any of your methods and they will second guess ever coming around.
EDIT for WV dumb laws:
Don't let anyone see you doing any booby trapping or other forms of harm inflicting contraptions and you're golden. Make sure it cannot be traced back to you. "I guess some kids must have been playing around out there and set that up...."

This is why I live in Texas. I once had a cop tell me if I caught a burgular and by chance shot him, to make sure he was dead that way he couldn't try and sue me.

You hear alot of people saying that line, but it is true. I had a sheriff tell me the same exact thing. Dead man tells no tale. Just make sure he is on your property when he is shot, and that he is not running away before you shoot. "thumbsup" If you shoot him while he is fleeing, that is a bad thing....They consider him to not be posing a threat to your family.
