Thanks man.. There is a company that makes a sammy body that will fit a SCX-10 chassis ( Proline I think..?) I've seen them done up before, they look nice.

This would be a 1.55 scale.

1.55 is the tire/wheel size.

1:55 scale is around the size of a matchbox car.

To answer the question, it's roughly 1/10 scale.

The axles really aren't 1/18 scale. Not by a long shot. And the body is 1/10, possibly 1/9 scale. Where did you come up with 1/24 scale body?

Hey guys, totally bringing this one back up from the dead, but I was going thru my computer and found some old sammy pics from a car show that shows the little guy with his 1:1 big brother and thought I would share

This also shows the custom 1/4" plate front bumper I made for the 1:1 to match what is on the Slickrock Sammy

The Slickrock Samurai will never die, it just goes into hibernation. I remember when I first started to read this thread I believe you were up to page 7. I was in awe at how cool it is, and how well written your updates are. It is(and always will be) in my top 5 favorite builds on RCC. I love seeing the pics of it and the 1:1(gorgeous truck by the way), they look so perfect together. I do miss seeing thread updates, but seeing pics of it hanging out with it's big brother makes up for it. Just wanted to let you know you've got a serious fan here.

Gotta say, this is the only time I've seen somebody make a part for their 1:1 to match their RC lol.

Your 1:1 Samurai looks amazing. There's somebody here with one, all he has is a 3" body lift on it, it's almost as if he doesn't know how cheap and easy it is to lift one of these safely.
