You should be in Texas. It's pretty pleasant in my garage these days! Come summer time, however, that'll be a different story! Fortunately, I've got a spare bedroom that I converted to my office/hobby room so I've got year 'round comfort to play with my toys.

Texas would be good.

I am retiring to Mississippi in a couple of years and first on the plan is an air conditioned shop.

We currently have 2 sore bedrooms, one is my wife's home office and the other is full of guitars and amps, so the RC's have to take a bit of a back seat in the winter.

We did a short crawl session last week. The Yota did very well submerged. It also performed well on the rocks.

Uh oh, looks like I tweaked the rear bumper pretty badly! Time to make that thing stronger.

seems like the small tires and long overhangs are hard on C1 rear bumpers, ive had to reweld and braise mine 4 times now.
looks great Tommy

No kidding! But I just can't bring myself to bob this body. I prefer the look of a full length bed. This bumper mount is actually pretty flimsy, though. And truth be told, I've never really been happy with this bumper. At the very least I'll reinforce it. Worst case, I'll build a new one altogether.

LOL! Actually, those wheels/tires are for my upcoming C2 build, not for the Toyota.

Man, I feel so bad for the paint on this thing! I wanted to keep it rather clean and purty, but after a few comps, that idea went to h3ll in a handbasket. I'm debating now if I want to just keep it all banged up or strip it down and paint it in white with similar stripes. At least being white the scratches won't be so obvious!

Whew! I thought you went loco, what's in store for C2? Going to the PNW shindig?

HA! I'm still deciding on the C2 rig. I've got a New Bright JK and TJ, as well as my old F350 body....one of these will be the basis. Thinking a KoH style JK would be cool. They seem awfully popular these days, though.

I hope to make the PNW show, but it depends on the budget and airfare!

Thanks! Yeah, as soon as I saw the Poison Spyder KoH JK, I fell in love. I won't copy it, but it'll certainly be the inspiration.

Here's pics from PS's site: http://shop.poisonspyder.com/articles.asp?ID=249

LOL! Thanks, man. Yeah, it's been around for sure. I'm surprised I've held onto it this long to be honest. I get thoughts of selling it from time to time, but it just works so damn well, I want to keep it around for my Class 1 rig. But I am getting antsy for another C1 truck!

At our last comp a buddy of mine took a bunch of footage and put together this cool video with some snippets of the Yota. Enjoy!

Hey Tommy, Put some 2.2 IRoks on it and run it is class 3, doh.

Seriously, I kept expecting to see you move this one on and build a new one and was always surprised to see it still going strong.

Hopefully the weather breaks here soon where I can work in my shop and finish my Hilux as I have a box of parts to build my Willys and another box of parts waiting on my TF2.
