i think i my know what it is on the inside. the outside i'm stumped. i'm going to wait and see what it is. i will say this it's in 3 of the pics you posted.

thanks man, i will be working on it starting monday...

ive been working on a buddys 8x8 for the last month, so this weekend he will be taking it for about 2-3 weeks so that should give enough time to finish it... also this weekend i will be taking it out for a bit of a scale run...

I love the scale hinges, hood latch and prop rod, but the one thing that glares in all the awsome scaleness...the base of the prop rod goes through the top of the radiator support

I wish I had that kind of patience to build something like that for a replica of my 79..very nice work

thanks man, the prop rod isn't done yet, also the rad support i still have to do the rod holder thing lol...

also i have one more thing up my sleave, you will see it tomorrow....

All the detail work is totally awesome! Will the tailgate function too or did I miss that post? Can't wait to see more updates and it's got me wanting to do a interior in my SCX-10.

Thanks, yes i used solvent (Weldene from plastruct) it hold good but you still have to make little supports to it won't break in a crash, hope fully i won't crash it...

Thanks, maybe but prolly not, i got a few from a buddy on marlincrawler.com to get me a few pics of his tailgate i could do it, but i might save it for my marlin truck....

Ok here is what i did today, i also did some yard work so i didn't get as much done as i wanted to, i also have tomorrow off of work so i will finish the hood and hopfully most of the engine bay...


this was the best pic i had to do the basic shape of the hood...
