You guys can slather up those control boards with hot glue to completely seal them up and make them waterproof. That's what I did to the servo control board for the winch on Guido.

This rig is tits Eric!!

First I want to thank Crawler Innovations again. Eddie been a big help to crawling community.

He sent me new cap for my fxr. Got it installed and working great. I'm hoping to try 4s sometime soon. You can pick up the caps here http://www.crawlerinnovations.com/

Comparison.. new cap vs fxr cap

Installed

I also installed 18t pinion. Plenty of zip with the 35t motor and 3s.

I wanted to add little detail and depth to cab. I outlined the doors. It by no means prefect But I don't care as the this cab isn't staying.

The other option is to use something like this:

I picked some up from a local automotive supply shop.

There are few things I could improve.

- Winch servo
- Get the steering working better

Nice job Eric, The truck looked and performed aesome! Please let me know what you do to the steering as my Honcho could benefit from some work also. My honcho was also untested and it was my first Comp. I took fourth place, couldn't be happier! See you in the next one!

Thanks for the props Eric, love the way the truck turned out. I've decided I'm going to build myself one of these beds. I just love yours too much to not.

Is the 4 wraps a decent length for basic winch duties?

I believe so. I would guess 3 wraps would be plenty. I never really used my winch during the comp as I didn't need to.
