Update time.. Bought new Fattbatt tray. I received Heyok new HV winch controller. I used Tower pro 945 since I had alot of them laying around and already made into winch. I started by unscrewing the cases apart. Then cut the 3 wires going to pot. I also when resoldered the motor wires. Old controller out. Soldered in the new controller. It doesn't matter what which go to which tab on motor as you can adjust the direction on your radio. I installed my new winch on the Fattbatt tray Quick video of it working. It breath new life into my old tower pro servos. |

The spool does not come in contact with upper link. I put 3mm thick spaces between tray and tray mounts. I have 1/8" clearance between the spool and upper link. | |

Rig looks even bigger with those MT's I like the white body too, it looks way better than the green. I have kind of the same thing except for the flatbed and all the electrical stuff haha! Keep up the good work! |

Testing new foam setup. I took inner 2.2 double deuce 2.00'' wide and narrowed it down to 1 3/4'' Used the prototype outer's 1.9 double deuce outer on top and 1.9 proto double deuce outer on bottom. New setup on the left and old setup on the right Bechtest side hill |

Haven't updated in while. I got the rig ready for "Rock the lake" comp we had this past Saturday. Pulled off a 2nd. Not much as changed. I did make a new mount to use The Scale Shop fairlead. I also redid my fender wells and added floor pans. I also when back to rok rox's, they just fit the this rig better. They did well the comp and felt good. I'm going to start tuning to get them even better. Pics thanks to Stang Killa SS. I think my next round mod's will be - new cab - proline floorpan - Tsc box(looking for one if anyone has one) - lights - new wheels - make the front end flex better Last edited by eric113; 08-08-2011 at 01:53 PM. |
