Got some work done on the cab. I figured it was a shame to spend the money for the Dinky R/C "Divorce Kit" "Gr7" gear reduction and "Split Skid" transfer case, (Just to get a lower floorboard) and also the full drop "Yota" interior. To not see it, so I cut out the door and will be hinging it so we can see inside. Might have to pop for one of those "Yota" steering wheels....

I think the hinges will be a good challenge. Let the detailing begin.

Here is what I came up with for the hinges. Basically copied the 1:1 hinge. Now I just have to drill and pin them. What do you think?

Well, I finally got the hinges done and the door hung. It was kind of a P.I.T.A....But, I think it came out ok.

I need to take a little off the sides of the cab back so it lines up better.

I like how the door goes inside the fender when open like the 1:1.

I know they are not in the exact position as the 1:1, but it works.

The hinges are awesome, thats so neat. Any plans for a functioning hood?

Since your running BPC chassis parts, check these shock hoops out. I noticed that you also are running big bores and I am as well. These shock hoops that he makes has my truck squat lower compared too the stock axial shock hoops. Its not a tremendous amount, too me its just right. I was having issues with ride height and these hoops just put my rig right in its place at a perfect height keeping my CG lower.

I also run his 3 link up front, such a huge difference Ive noticed. Nice and smooth I need to get on the rear 4 link and install it.. soon lol

Check out www.BPChassis.net you can see alot of products and upcoming products soon available for everyone!

Rear shock hoop.

Front shock hoop.

Thanks guys, I might hinge the hood so I can get to the electronics without removing the cab. i will have to talk to Bruce about some of those shock hoops. I do think it sits a touch too high.

Thanks Guys... This has been a fun project. This Dinky R/C interior is awesome. I picked up a pair of Wraith seats and painted them up to match the interior. Made a roll cage, and windshield, installed carpet. also added a couple details (window cranks, e-brake & gas pedal) Need shifters & steering wheel. (Not sure if I want to make an automatic or stick shift) Started work on a slider window for the rear, and wind wings for the doors. Now to the pictures.

If you look closley, you'll see the tracks for the slider in the rear window. I am also going to move the drivers seat back a little.

Last night I got a few more details done. Added door locks window cranks and speaker grillls to the doors. Also made some keys and a shifter.

This shifter is almost 20 seperate pieces of plastic took over an hour.

I finally got both shifters and and the pedals finished and installed. Also put the knobs and preset buttons on the radio. I think it is coming along nicely. Just a few more little details to go.....
