Looks like you're ready to get started. I see enough to make a roller.

I got some progress today. These Axial's go togeather pretty easy. When you buy all the parts seperatly it is more expensive,
and there is lots of hardware missing. Need to go back to the LHS for more stuf.

First custom part finished. Had a little time before work so I brazed up a little 4 link mount for the rear axle. What do you think?
I have to get more hardware and remove the stock 3 link bracket.

Last night I worked on it a bit. I cautiously cut into my Hilux cab.(Scarry...) Dove nosed it, I think it came out pretty good. Need to get a grill. Today I started working on the front bumper. Also ordered a Reign Hilux cab back and STRC high clearance nuckles from RPP last night.

Look what on the counter when I got home from work. RPP Hobby's service really does rock. I ordered these sunday evening.
Today I dove in and ordered a Dinky RC "Divorce Kit" Gr7 Gear reduction and "split skid" transfer case combo. Also a Dinky RC white "Yota" interior.

Thanks, I am pleased with it also. I used 2 different vises, pliers and auto-body hammers and dolly's, files, sandpaper a lot of time and patience.

Had to make a trip to the LHS at lunch for some more parts. Picked up the grill, upper links, and new front and rear link mounts. 4 link for the rear and 3 link with a panhard bar in the front. Now I will have someting to do tonight.

These mounts are from Bruce at RC Country Hobbies. The middle one is a servo mount also.

I also picked up some 3Racing CVD's for the front. Now with these and the STRC high clearance knuckles, she'll turn.....

Here she is mocked up last night. This started as a 2.2, but I think I like it better as a 1.9. (might need to move this thread)

The 3-4 link/ cms kit I picked up at RC Country Hobbies in Sacramento, CA. My friend Bruce has them made. They sell for $15 a set. (killer price)
