I know. I need to get back to this project badly. Once I get the jeep driving I will be able to. I think I have a few things figured out just need to get some cutting and drilling for mounts.

Really have had this build in the back of my mind lately.

Been thinking about ditching the real leafs for now and going back to 4 link it get it running. Still need to find a transfer case or use the stock trans. Mounting the r2 trans and get the body and bed together. Even thought about a simple flat bed it get it going.

Well well well...

This thing has moved to the front of my mind and can't get it out.

So plans as of now kinda same path but heading slight right of my original plan.
Keeping the leaf need pinion degree shims or make some
4 link front
Everest axles, rear axle is built with axial parts. Still need to build the front.
R2 trans
Everest stock motor for now cause I have it with the wide range of gear options with the r2 I should be able to make things work. Till I find a 35t I want.
Black foot cab and simple flat bed.
Need some drill bits and a tap or two.
More to come hope it get some work done this weekend.
How it's been sitting

Picked up a 35t today as well as a 19t pinion.

Here were my gearing options
Gearing : 8T pinion = 30.4:1, 9T pinion = 27.0: 1, 10T pinion = 24.3:1, 11T pinion = 22.1:1, 12T pinion = 20.3:1, 13T pinion = 18.7:1, 14T pinion = 17.4:1, 15T pinion = 16.2:1, 16T pinion = 15.2:1, 17T pinion = 14.3:1, 18T pinion = 13.5:1, 19T pinon = 12.8:1, 20T pinion = 12.2:1

Also found a driver hope he fits inside the Blackfoot cab.

Well, I picked up a Blackfoot grill and grill support. And a China t-case. All three important in getting the cab situated.

Bought some building materials yesterday.
2 sticks of 8-32 all thread 36"
1 sheet of 6"x18" .025 aluminum
1 sheet of 12"x12" .019 aluminum
1 stick of 1"x1/8th 36" flat bar for shock mounts maybe front trans mount.
I have some ideas. The 12x12 will be a bed
6x18 I got for interior floor or maybe boat side sliders.
Waiting on parts t-case is coming from china. Grill is coming from UK. So I got a wait for some key parts.

My grill arrived today and already received the grill support. Now I should be able it get an idea of where the cab will have final resting place on the chassis after bumper gets removed and sight fender trim.

Well got my t-case a day early. 15 days from China with to holidays smack dab in the middle isn't bad.

I have a three day weekend this weekend since I took my birthday off. So I going to work on this tiny truck.

I think I figured out how I want to mount the r2
Devising a plan to mount the t-case might make a new skid.
Need to brush up on styrene since its been a while since I looked in to it.
Take my driver and see his fitment in the cab.
Lots of things to do.

I think my driver will fit (punisher " marvel deardevil Legends series" he is sitting on a stock MRC steering servo.

Testing layout of trans and t-case. One thing for sure stock shock mounts have to go to mount the r2 trans up front motor does not have the space it needs.

Stock trans and t-case comparison. Stock trans w/motor plate weighs 1.3 oz and the t-case is 4 oz. 2.7 oz gain centralized on the lowest part of the chassis.

Also I believe the t-case I picked up has a ratio 1.47:1 vs the 1:1. So since I already underdrived the rear I can use the t-case to overdrive the front. But also wonder if using overdrive gear and then overdrive again with the t-case if that would be overkill or even been done guess more research.

Really been thinking what style bed to run and after looking at seems like hundreds of different 1:1 rigs this is the style I'm considering since the tools I have to work with. Some thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Well I got some time to work on this. And moved it to the the garage instead of the kitchen table.

Blow it apart to start with then started working with some random links I have for some mock up before building links. I'm happy I can just leave it out now instead of packing it away every time I'm done working on it. Would like it somewhat rolling again this week.

Well somewhat of a roller now.

I like where the rear axle is and I used the four stock lower links with different rod ends. Right now it sitting at full bump. The front needs to be pushed back and links re worked, but I'm using some random links I have. I have some link building material once I get the front set.

Working on getting a skid made that will be stock width able to fit standard m3 rod ends and fit my transfer case. Just been busy to be at the bench.

I think I found the wheels I want gmade ar04 but optional rings cause not a big fan of red and won't match my blue/black paint scheme.
