Dash is done I think.. may add a few tiny painted details to the radio and A/C controls. Not sure yet.
I do love how detailed the new interior set is for the 4 door. A friend of mine actually bought the same one for his regular cab tf2 and cut it down.. looks awesome.

So it's midnight and I have to be at work in the morning at 5:00 but trying to get this thing a little further along.. so started fitting my driver and covering the seats with material...

Had to shorten his legs about a 1/2" and cut a lot out of his rear.. also heated the seat and pushed in down on it to kinda "mold" him to it.. still need to take another 1/4" or so out of his rear so that he is not so close to the roof of the truck.. seat covers are made from some big screen TV speaker covers that I found behind the dumpster at my second job.. gotta try and find some grey felt for carpet..

Sliders are tacked up. These also give the appearance of a "floor board" to help hide electronics...

So interior is complete minus a few little Scale accessories that I want to add. I've been taking my time on this build which I wanted to be able to do but realizing today that USTE is basically 4 weeks away I may have to speed things up a bit.

Started building a radiator out of styrene. Little rough right now but you won't see much of it but going to add a few more details anyway.

Little gluing and a little sanding and it's basically done... next to paint it silver and mount it to the radiator support

I just came across this thread, and was about ask what you were going to use for rear links to make the 14" WB. In one pic, it looked like threaded rod that I believed you might sheath in stainless steel tubing.
But this tells me you're going to machine new links from smooth tubing and cut internal threads in the ends.

Ok so not many want to play the guessing game.. this is how you achieve getting the right length driveshaft for a 14" wheelbase...
mill down a piece of solid stock, drill inside to lighten it up some, cut your MIP shaft and finally weld back together...

Oohhh.....driveshaft. I don't know what I was thinking. Antenna lol. That would have been a lot of milling.

So what do you do when you want to run a rear bumper designed for a tf2 on your extended chassis scx10??? You build some adapter brackets...

So no updates in a while. Seems as if my work, family and other real life schedules have interfered with my tiny truck time.. also starting to get a little burned out on this project. Did take a little time to convert my class2 comp rig to hardbody and went for a little weekend trail run with the guys weekend before last. Hoping to get back on this build very soon..

Here are some pics from my weekend trip..
