I have made a few changes, first is the UGC Duuuuude rear mount. Love it, lots of adjustment possibility's!!

Next bought some Dirty Harry's and SLW V1's from a RCC member. Had to get new hubs, had the rims for a week. I finally got them mounted Shaved about 1 1/2 oz off, back under 6 lbs

We have a local comp tomorrow, get to see how she feels with the changes.

well we comped today, only 4 guys showed. My son Rocky666 had a electrical problem with his fastback/hybrid, i let him drive the last 3 courses with my rig. Pretty easy to guess what happen, he beat us all. His first win ever. the rest of us all tied with the same scores. So with the tiebreaker i came in 4th. But my Fastback won, with Tyler

Default Shock Cap Mod

BillJ

I have been trying to find a thread on the shock cap mod you have used, and can't find anything. Can you give me a run down on how to do this. It looks preety simple, but I don't want to end up with leaky shocks.

Thanks

Bill's came that way, they leak like a sieve, one has broken, he has ordered an unmodded set.

There is a thread on rcc somewhere? Im not happy with the mod, makes a weak link on the shock. Hard to keep them from leaking. Like DickyT said im going to the stock Losi shocks, Ill just put a ball from a revo rod end in there and bolt it down. In the back i have a set of JeepinDoug 6mm shock standoffs
