Not sure, never tried. Our panels have a very nice finish from the get go.

1000% Agree. Had yours on my Wraith and loved them.

Not CFM's but this Chromed Out Wraith should give you an idea on how they would come out polished.

I would be interested in one of the custom roof panels like u have on your rig. One that covers the exo rear light bar .

Hi guys. Has anyone been able to contact Carter Fab since last Tuesday/Wednesday?

I'd sent them both an email & a facebook message several times since last Tuesday. They responded pretty quickly to my initial FB message but not again to any of the replies since then.

I know they experienced a loss within their family and that they would be out until Sunday but was hoping to get some response yesterday or today for some shipment updates on an order I placed.

Hopefully they're just slammed and have not been able to get to my query.

Any chance in making some front fender skins kinda like a WOD buggy?

Son wanted a bomber but can't see spending retail plus upgrades on one knowing what I do and how I like my trucks.
So I parted out my F100 Runner class2 rig and built him a 1.9 Bomber.

It runs my custom narrow XR F9 housings, big bores, CFM links, Holmes Stubby Puller Pro 2200kv, MMP, MKS servo, built VP SCX trans, 1.9 axial 8 holes with SLW mod, trail ready rings from Locked Up RC, CI 4.75" standard Lil Novas, Proline KR2 rubber.

That's literally how easy an SCX trans install is. Don't have to buy anything. Takes 5 minutes and some spacers off your spare parts tree. Didn't even have to use extended outputs for this setup.
The tires are massive. Sidewall says 4.71 but pretty sure that has to do with Prolines involvement with scale now and keeping a tire legal. These measure 4.800" all day long.

Here's a side by side of our two Bombers for comparison sake. The 1.9 has a 13 7/8" wheelbase.

Built some steel front lower control arms for Team Driver Josh Harris(rolandrockshop). He wanted something to give the best link geometry for a front dual shock setup.

^^...Sooo, now he gets to run dual shocks in front with a Currie? Are they for sale, or is it a one-off for your drivers?

Wait and see how he likes them and if any tweaks need to be made. If all goes well, I don't have a problem adding them to production.

I saw on Insta that on you kid's 1.9 bomber you are running slw modded axial beadlocks. How do those hold up because I was thinking about those for a build I am doing but don't know if they will have enough plastic around the screws. Thanks

That 1.9 Bomber looks right! Nice work Carter. I run the same rear driveshaft on a couple of my builds and I love them. Strong, simple, and quiet. You gonna call these Fat Man and Little Boy?

Ran them on my Class2 rig for a while and no failures. It's a very popular mod.

Only shafts I run are Maxx or WB8 HD. Never let me down, light weight, and cheap.

Super nice rigs. I was curious, how are your "Antirocks" holding up tightness wise since you put the new screws in em? They are very nice looking but don't stay tight. Also where can I get the bomber sticker sheet?

Sway bar hasn't come loose since. Sticker sheet comes with the clear body set.
