Looks good. I wish I had the talent to make some of the things I see on here.
Does that body fit on the stock chassis with no mods?

thanks mate... you just need pacience really...none of what i'm doing was too hard to do really

...yes wheelbase is a perfect fit and as you can see i did put it as low as i could and although wheels hit the arches on full articulation its not an issue.

hi again guys

now that my D90 is ready i went for a new project... i'm going to build from scratch a Series III Land Rover Lightweight body out of styrene. Took scale measurements from photos i found on the net and so far its coming ok. Here is a first pic of the work in progress and what it should look like when ready...i hope

Default Styrene

Looks great Adrian - I am considering making a styrene body and I was wondering how the styrene holds up to abuse. Is it durable enough to handle say a three foot drop directly on to the nose?

Thanks lwarc

well till now i found its quite durable...actually its the glue that needs to be very good, since styrene is quite shock resistant. I would never dare try a 3 foot drop though in none of my landies LOL ...but the styrene bumper i made for the D90 is still holding on to my abuse...just lost the paint and got heavily scratched but didnt break.

This curent one i'm building is taking me lots of time and patience, and i doubt i'll take it to extremes when its ready... this is for scale trialing with friends. For the hard stuff i'll use the hpi d90 body

thanks for the feedback guys

thanks mate

...not sure yet about soft top...i mean if i'll do it or not

if i go for it i'll definitely make proper hood sticks out of brake pipe or solid rod so i can keep canvas sides rolled up. For material i'll use the same brown i used on the D90... had to buy lots of it so still plenty of material left.
