the lightweight body is awsome! 10/10! but i do think it deserves it's own leaf sprung chassis! |

This is a sweeet build, I liked the first one ,but I really like the new one, can't wait to see more scale parts or aging you do to it. BTW, I like the white stock wheels better. |

i like the new one, but i think i like your first setup better. This one is just a little too rigid, maybe after some abuse or painted abuse it will look better Great job regardless though |

thanks for all the comments guys...really appreciate I started plans so maybe i can get hood sticks done for it soon... gonna do a soft top but this will have rolled up sides and back so they have to be out of brake pipe or solid rod. also thinking of doing myself a nato hitch from scratch out of styrene ...lots of work but i guess it can be done with patience. |

yes lights are all custom... side and rear lights are cut to size from real car lights plastic and the big headlights are from a couple of small key ring torch lights. Size was perfect and i used only the bowls and lenses. Then wired all up with LEDs.

Sorry...dont know if they are good or durarable yet...havent had time to take it out for testing yet. They are made of the same plastic used on other items which is quite a shock resistant material...rock sliders will only have to cope with the occasional side rocks so i think they are ok for the job. Obviously they will get scratched re the soft top frame i'll try and upload some pics...its made out of styrene as well... |

Didnt bother to make it clean and tidy since it cannot be seen. this first photo is taken from under the body... and this is from the rear... hope this helps a bit... sorry but i dont have any pics of work in progress of this. |
