thanks guys re velcro...yes it helped a lot during the planning and also to hold it to shape around the frame...used it in various places, even on top and bottom sides...when happy with result, i used glue as well though, except for the rear tailgate so i can have access to the body slip pins. |

Hi guys managed to get my hands on a new TR body and bumpers... really love this body but i hated the front lights and grill decals...i wanted it to look like the real thing...so just 7hrs after i received it, i had already fabricated styrene light surrounds and a grill. Here are the pics of the before and after... |

I did the same thing with my TR, just adding a little styrene makes a work of difference on the it looks. Nice job.

Nice job! I've always been a fan of the Series 2As and 3s. Nice work with the grill on the TR too! |

Hi guys just got myself some scale proline tools and decided to fabricate my own hilift rack to attach it to the spare wheel. What do you think? right now i'm working on some wingtop chequered plate...doing the texture myself with a blade since i couldnt find any ready made sheets locally ...and i'm also waiting for a set of RC4WD Trail Buster tyres like these... |

How are you fabing this stuff up such as the grills and nick nacks you are putting on the truck that make it look so cool. Also where did you get your stickers? Nice work.

more mods :-)))))))))))))))) ...now my landrover has a bikini soft top and door tops. Only glued the door tops...the soft top is just strapped to cage, but had to make a frame to get it to shape. Here are some more pics... |

did a couple of new addons to my land rover... built a storage box that fits neatly behind the seats... ...and yesterday i made my own Jerry Can and Jerry can holder out of styrene. Jerry can is not glued in place an can be removed. I also gave up searching for wheel spacers and instead i trimmed the fenders...was much easier LOL |

some more work done... i did a steering guard that fits below TR front bumper. Its made of styrene as well but covered the bottom part where it will hit the rocks with some beer can aluminium foil. For now its still too shiny but i'm hoping that on its next rock outing i'll sort that out :-))))))))) |
