So my new proline tool box arrived today and it looks pretty sweet! Might have to get a second one for the black body! I thought I was going to have to shorten it to get it to sit right in the bed but I don't think so now. It looks perfect! The tricky part is going to be working around those goofy tube looking things (I assume for body strength) that go from the rear of the cab down to the bed. I'll get some photos up as soon as I get it installed. Oh, and here's a shot from the comp yesterday...we didn't get to class 2 rigs, we ran out of time...but the photo looked good.

Man the toolbox is perfect. I haven't installed it yet but its a great way to get a bunch of scale point for shovels and crap without it hanging all over the place on your truck. Just fill it up! I like the clean look of this truck, I don't want a sleeping bag glued n the back. Now I can throw a tow rope, tools, fire extinguisher, etc in the box and shut it!

I think the box looks better in the black bed too. I hate to say this but I think I'm starting to like the black body more than the orange and white one. I'll just have to get them both set up with scale junk so I get the same points whichever body I'm running.

Finally got a BRXL for this thing! So long XL-5 (stupid double tap). Installing my tool box as we speak. Update with photos later, or tomorrow.

Ha, yeah. I had to reverse first, then hit it. It's got a new BRXL in it and the same old Tekin 35T that I've had since day 1. Ran it quite a bit and had no temperature issues with it. It's really got some wheel speed now! It's fun to drive.

Ha, yeah same here. The black is especially hard to get clean. This thing has so much steel on it I have to oil everything when I'm done washing, like you'd do with a gun before you put it away, otherwise it will rust. I'm very anti-rust as you can probably tell with all the stainless hardware I use.

Made a little video of our comp last weekend. Once of the other guys shot this from the top of his rig.

So our local club has decided to allow cut and shuts in class two, with some exceptions of course. Here's my first attempt at them. These were 2.2 Proline TSL/SX Super Swampers. I took two inches out of their circumference so they'd be right at 4.75" tall. Geez they look huge on there. We'll see how they hold up.
