winch kicked ass, Robert. I just need to get more practice time with the winch. I found myself fiddleing with the button a few times. I know i will get the hang of it, eventually. Lol

I just want to clarify that the KMS winch and HeyOk controller worked perfectly. It was me not getting enough practice time with the remote where i was having issues. That winch was pulling the hell out of my truck. Any where i hooked on had to very solid. One time i hooked on about 20lb rock and flipped it over, with no problem.

Look in the vendors section, in electronics. Or go to RPP hobbies, they also carry it. Mine is the KMS K3 180oz

Hey billj, since I've comped with you too many times to count. Would that KMS work for my rig/ driving style? I only ask since you know how hard I run. I trust you're opinion completely.

Hey Graham, its best mod ive done to this rig. Never knew how good a servo winch was. Im very pleased with it. Your a little tougher on stuff than me, so you might want the 220oz version. LOL

Was not happy with the spare tire on top of the cage. So i relocated it this morning, made a little mount to support it with. With the cage being wrapped around it, its very secure.

Had to move my terrain ladders also. Fabed a mount on one side and a bungee on the other side. Should be good to go

Looks good! You could add a windshield, wipers, and sideveiw mirrors for scale points.

Im gonna put the windshield back on, but i have to make some new mounts for the light bar (bar hits windshield w stock mounts) If you have seen me comp than u would know rearview mirrors will never last. lol

I was hesitant to suggest the side mirror for the reason that they might not last and could get hung up.

Got some metal sliders from Troy at ScalerFab. Nice stuff, great people to deal with. Sliders sit a little higher than the stockers And a spare tire spinner, i dig it too

Had a two man team comp today at RRW Hobbies. Was teamerd up with my son Tyler. We were rolling along very well, then i stripped the spur gear. Had no replacement so i took some 32p pinion/spur gears i had and installed them and was able to finish the course. We did finish 7th, but would of been alot better if i didnt break. I guess i should of changed to 32p gears earlier.

I ordered some 32P spur and pinion gears after striping a steel spur gear. Just got them today.

Do you know what you'll be going with as far as the gear sizes?
