looks good so far. I've always liked orange jeeps and the trepadors look good on those wheels.

What local hobby shop are you supporting? If its in control hobbies I think they actually have a chance. I went there just this weekend and it seems like they're the only hobby shop that has started carrying scale stuff. The employees seem really friendly and helpful too.

The only hobby shop in Idaho Falls is a Hobbytown USA as far as I know. I have mixed feelings about them. I bought my Rubicon from Tower because they had a good deal on it.

I just googled In Control Hobbies. That's in Post Falls not Idaho Falls. Different part of the state.

No problem. Bet you have some great crawling up in northern Idaho. And thanks. Paint turned out great. In the process of applying decals right now. I'll get some pics up when done. Hoping I can get her outside today.

Crappy cell phone pics. Hopefully later today I can get out and get some real photos with my camera and get some crawling time in.

I'm looking forward to seeing some outdoors photos. How did you attach the roof and rear body?

I got out today and got some pics. Just gotta do some photo editing before I can post them. The roof attaches to the cage with four screws on top. To get to the body pins to get the whole body off you have to remove the screws. Kind of a pain but can't argue with the scale looks.

Just a word of caution - that warn winch fairlead is pretty weak and will break if it gets bashed. Be wary of winch height rocks

Thanks. I'm thinking about making a custom post. I've read about cutting a hole in the back window to access the posts. Since the spare will cover the hole it may workout.

Yeah there is quite a lot of good crawling in north Idaho. I have a small mountain or large hill, not sure which, behind my house that is crawler heaven.

I just got some small but amazingly strong magnets and am planning on trying that to attach the hard top. I can let you know how well that works if I get them on any time soon.

Also, where did you get that Moab sticker? I just went there for spring break and never saw any stickers like that.

Yeah I had the one on my Honcho break. I'm thinking about getting the Viking fairlead that RC4wd sells.
