I am actually doing the same build right now Harley. I started it last weekend. Mine is on 2.2s at least for now. I just put wraith length shocks on for more clearance but I might switch back to the scx10 shocks. It sits a little high but not to bad.

Those damn cans! I moved a bottle that was on the bench, totally missed the cans! I blame Howard and John, they were over the night before. The tallboy looking can is Howards Clamato *barf*

I'm digging the 1.9's on this one actually. But like you I am wanting a lower ride height. I am going to wait until I load up the chassis though and see what the weight of the other pieces does to the overall stance.

Mine sat about perfect with the scx10 shocks but didn't have much travel till the tires hit the fenders. This is it with the longer shocks and 2.2 mudslingers. I'm also putting different rims on it to widen it just a bit.

We'll see, I'm pretty damn lazy. Maybe if I get a template done one of the more motivated vendors will knock them out cheap.

Well, I was collecting parts to build something unique with many axles, but I already have everything lying around to build one of these...

Josh is always good for derailing my projects.
Curses.

This has been one of those projects as well. Other than some wheels and tires I have had all the parts laying around. The wheels and tires were just because I wanted to try them as well. Gotta love parts bin trucks!

Looks like a great way to make a class 2 rig. I want to try this.

About the wraith interior. What exactly is in the way? Is it the spur cover or the transmission itself?

I have a ToyZuki Motor Mount and was wondering if the interior will fit with that. It just leaves the transmission on the skid and moves the motor spur and pinion forward.

I'll confirm but I do believe it would help a great deal but the there would still be a small amount of interference with the transmission case. It would be a pretty easy job to trim it out though.
