Thanks for the quick response! Turns out I posted before I really just tried harder. The SSD splines are bigger but they DO in fact line up! Maybe its the anno on the VP stuff but the fitment is really snug. Just took a bit more force than I expected.

Ok so turns out I was half right. One side went on. Tight but right. Now the second is a different story. This sucker's not going on. Looking at my (now slightly mashed) c hub, it looks like the OD of the tube splines is bigger. Maybe i can spread the c hub enough to get it over the tube but I dont wanna destroy the thing. The other side is on so tight, I cant get it off to compare!

Which chubs to you have. Is it the clamping ones? If it is then they may be become deformed and that may be why they don't fit right.

I did use a round edged jewelers file to fix the splines and knock down the marring I caused last night. Anyone else ever run into this?

I purchased a set from RPP with the alu diff covers and alu bearing caps, then put the vp stage 1 kit on them and couldn't be happier with them. I will be replacing all of my axial housings with these.

I LOVE THESE HOUSINGS!!!!

I don't think one should apologize for that. If you didn't resurrect it, people would accuse you of not using the search function

SSD I was wondering if Im able to use the 3 link stock Axial set up front. I purchased the D60 Axels and ran into this problem. I do in fact also have the Axel mounted servo plate as well. But where does the end to the 3 point link go ? PLEASE HELP!!!

Do you mean the Y shaped stock 3 link setup? If so it cannot be used on these axles. You need to convert to 4 link.

I think we replied to an email from you about this.

As others have said, the D60s are not compatible with the old Y 3 link setup.
So you have to convert to 4 link or CMS with panhard.

100% compatible with stock SCX10 axle gears, shafts, bearings, C hubs and knuckles - so it's a straight swap, no new parts needed.
Just got me a set. Love y'alls products. The compatibility with all stock components shows me that you guys got it together. I have been running the high clearance aluminium knucks and chubs on my stock SCX10 housings for a couple months now. Top shelf products. Keep em coming. Thumbs-Up

Does anyone offer a panhard/3link axle mount for this in aluminum. I've broken 2 now. I am very rough on my truck so I am not surprised that I have broken it, just would like something stronger

X2! I would like to find one as well! - SSD?!?
There is an option for alum on the scx10 axle housing, but not on your own D60 housing? Is that correct? Is this a part that you could add to your D60 option parts?

The 3 link mount really has not been a common/easy part to break so there was no need to make an aluminum one.

RPP have spare link mounts in stock: SSD RC D60 Axle Link Mount Set for SCX10
