Original SCX10 is a proven chassis the new one is a whole new ball of wax. Plus $350 for a kit is a bit pricey Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I will not be putting my model under water, but just in case, id like to have something prepared to everything... I will play in dirt, sand, street, mud... BATTERY thinking in a 3S LiPo, dunno wich one exactly, but gettin close to it! ROTOR Brushed more maintenace, but is better for my use? good torque, and lit bit of a speed also. My rig is gonna be a lit heavy, so a good torque will fit well i think saw in HolmesHobbies the TorquePro rotors...they look pretty good! ESC i gonna need the AE-5? id like to have a waterproof one, just in case... SERVOS I saw that i gonna need a strongest servos on my rig... What will control my leds/channels rig/radio? | |

Get Holmes Hobbies TorqueMaster ESC and motor (40t, best of both worlds IMO). Servo with at least 250 oz/in torque. HiTech is a great brand Castle Creations 10a BEC for extra power to the servo. Castle Link so you can fine tune the ESC and adjust the BEC Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yes that would allow for two batteries. Just so you know, that splitter is wired in parallel, which will double your run time, as opposed to doubling power. Also, you will probably need to change the plug on your ESC and battery to fit that. Last I remember the AE-5 comes with a Molex/Tamiya plug, and that's a Deans/Ultra plug. As for batteries, I just use cheap Zippy lipos. That way, if it gets ruined it's a pretty minimal loss. Here is one that fits your description: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=58891 Just so you know, most people I know just run one pack in their rig at a time, to keep weight low. But you can do whatever you want. Last edited by Derekuda; 06-01-2016 at 05:37 PM. |
