I want those links. I had to bend mine just like that to get my cms to work with the d90 axle.

So purdy...need more details. Maybe this will replace my scx10 front motor to gcm t-case. Assuming metal gears...2-speed? If this is durable it'll be perfect for my ultra 4 and will eliminate having a 3rd intermediate shaft.

That's an RC4WD R4 that I designed a few years ago. The new SSD scale trans is an evolution of my work with lower gearing, married tcase, direct drop into the SCX10 and a few other improvements.

Single speed with hardended steel gears. Different gear ratios will be made available.

This side of the hobby just gets better and better, thanks to the passion of those with skills to think up new things. That transmission looks splendid!! It also looks like it would take care of the need for clearance, in considering a scale interior. Added to my RPP wishlist.

Is the transfer case switchable for either left or right side drop?

So based on the ratio 14.33:1 it would be like having a 87/16 and the scx10 trans ratio. (87/16)*(2.60)=14.1375:1

Or is my math wrong? SSD said there would be other ratios, wonder what they would be.

Correct. I haven't worked out exactly what we will offer but could be around 10:1
