Well, i finally got my Chinese pro-line pre-painted interior....not impressed...the paint for the seats was way off the seat lines... and the thing was shipped in a plastic bag and it got crushed more than once in route... pretty nasty looking. I dont have pics as I let my star expire, but I was not happy with it. I cut it up to fit the scout but it was a pretty hacked job to get it to fit and the rear seats were cut out to allow for the body mount to get to the top of the body. It will do for now, but I do think I will make my own or find something else that fits better. |

I had to sell off the brushless cc slate motor and mmp to raise cash and so I had a AE-5 spare ESC and ordered a Holmes Hobbies Trailmaster cheap 35t brushed can motor. I was pleasantly surprised by the power it has compared to the more expensive rebuild-able motors. This motor should suffice until i get back on my feet and can go brushless again. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. Last edited by allanon1965; 06-02-2018 at 08:24 PM. |

ok so I did some upgrading to the scout and converted it to scx10II axles, CMS and also put on a rear spare tire and carrier, rear antenna and changed out the tires for Pitbull Rock beasts... the CMS is a little hokey and I dont want to encourage that here so I am not showing a pic of that, I just did it temporarily until the scx10II battery tray/CMS bracket gets here..also had to use the scx10II front shock hoops...

the wheel base was 11.25 and now its 11.0 had to make a small adjustment when switching to the scx10II axles, also had to move the front bumper out about a 1/4 inch...

Got my scx10II battery tray/CMS mount today and all is well, performs well and looks more scale to me. I normally dont mind the servo on axle on a scx10 but this one being more done to scale bugged me a lot seeing it on the axle. Now I need to get 2 more kingheadz scx10II diff covers to look more scale yet.. lol

How hard was the scx10ii axle conversion? What did you need to change besides sliding New axles in?

Very easy, remove upper left front link and use the scx10II battery tray/CMS, braces, front shock hoops and steering links.
