im guessing to keep costs down and from my experiences, glued tires hold a little better that beadlocks while bashing/driving fast and such.

I agree with you for the most part. Although it truly comes down to what each person feels comfy with

Once I physically see one I add the section, same as every other crawler on this site.

This has little to due with the beadlock function than it does with weight. Typically true beadlock rims are heavier which equals more rotational mass. On a fast rc you want as little rotational mass as possible.

This is why when I had my monster trucks going 70+ I used dish rims with low profile tires. Least weight I found possible.

Not seen a European release date yet. Spoke to the Axial distributor for the UK and they were cagey about a release date, but said mid year. You can pre order from the US but shipping costs from what i've seen are in the $100s so it makes for an expensive option.

it is cheaper for me to order it from the us than other europien countrys, becuase of the low dollar and taxes. But where can i backorder it? i havent seen it on tower hobbies.

mid may sounds o.k

Oh Axial, what have you done? I'd given up this hobby, fed up after buying a 4wd buggy that looked like a dropped pie, a new Sand Scorcher thats still looks 'wrong' somewhere to me, and even your SCX10 that I bought and put on the mantelpiece to keep the kids away from the fire. I actually liked the Wreckluse and Timberwolf, but given a choice between feeding the kids and a new toy, I saw some sense. Then this thing. Beautiful lines, enough speed, great scope for FOFF etc, and an aftermarket that will go nuts, with loads of great parts for us to fit and polish thorugh the long winter nights. I'm back in the hobby again, so thanks Axial! ( I think..)

I am itching to get me a crawler and was looking at the AX10 for a while but now with the Wraith coming out I don't know what to do! Should I get the Wraith and just be patient or get an AX10 and start building it????

What type of crawling do you plan on do?
If its bashing and trail running this might handle all that and then some.
