Not a big fan of bashing but ripping around corners is always fun too if you have the speed for it. It reminds me of a KOH rig. Being able to go fast, handle well, and then slow down for the more technical, slow crawling things. I love crawling up little creek ravines and things like that.

CKRC? That's where I am thinking of getting mine. Is it supposed to release in like the first week of May or something?

Just for the record, is that a decent kit in terms of the battery and the charger? Or should I look at something else?

In my opinion, get lipos and a lipo charger.

I wonder how it will look with some tall 1.9's on it. Any thoughts?

With the width of the axles and I don't see how a 1.9 would look very good on there. Small tires on a buggy would look slightly silly. Maybe if you find something 5"+

1800mah is plenty of run time in a crawler with high turn motors, that battery wouldn't last long in the Wraith. I would run at least a 3000mah or better.

Kit C looks like the best bang for your buck, just sayin. I have a 12turn in my ax-10 it works great. Also lipos are very nice. I would love to get one of these but I dont have any money. However I am going to try and get my hands on a set of those axles for my crawler.

Without wieght in the wheels the servo should last a little bit. I dont know how much torque you need for trail running and rock crawling. I got a Futaba S9157 that will go in with a CCBEC. I think that it has too much torque, but its what I got laying around.

Finally a machine to replace my wheely king as a fun basher/semi-capable crawler. I'm patient and don't really have any interest in the truck until (if) there are rollers on ebay. I don't like the stock radio, electronics, or wheels. Can any of you more experienced crawler guys guesstimate on how many months after the Wraith's release rollers might be available?

Also, I believe the HH BRXL ESC uses the same plastic case as the Axial AE-2 and the Sidewinder and should fit in the stock mount. Am I wrong? Thanks.

I take it the price on their website is for a pre-order, otherwise i'll be ordering ten of them !

Default Wraith Vs Gmade R1

1st post, looking at dumping my 1/8 Electric buggy conversion and getting a wraith when it comes out. Seems like a good transition vehicle.

So How is it going to stack up with the Gmade R1 with similar motor combination. Just from a dimension comparison, it seems the Wraith is a little longer and slightly wider. I.E. could be more stable at higher speeds. Is the R1 made of better components like shocks, links, axles etc? Or is it similar and the Wraith is a better value?

They are probably charging $300 in shipping.

The Wraith will be more desirable just do to the fact it's Axial and the parts support will be vast. The gmade shocks are not too great and the tires are meh.

The G1 is nice, but not always the easiest to get parts support for.

After the success of the SCX series (at least I think they are successful), I was expecting more companies to jump on board. It's almost like Losi with the MRC...can nobody else build a 1.9? Speaking of Losi, where are they? I'd love to see what Rubba and DelMonte could come up with.

If Losi had a rig like the SCX or Wraith, I'd buy it. There....I said it.
