Oh I know, and I think I touched on that in the first video perhaps. There are a million different variables that could come into play. Some people have the ability to buy locally but have to pay tax while others just have to pay shipping. I decided to take the route of ignoring that factor and letting you all figure that out on your own

This just gives people another path to take when upgrading parts. Like I say in a couple of the other videos, you can also save cash by purchasing things all at once such as the 10 piece VP link kit.

Check this out. Bigger foams in those wheels seem to keep the beads in better

That is some really handy info. Foams are in my schedule already but could easily be moved up.

Week 11 was very good with steel gears and foreshadowing of the nice SuperShafty rear output. What about an aluminum tranny case that retains the Wraith stock style (with the dig housing area and long rear output) such as the new HR case?

WRAITH Black Aluminum Center Gear Case - Super Shafty

BTW any pros to the aluminum tranny cases besides less stripped mounting holes and less gear case flex? Is the added weight a pro or con? I try to keep my Wraith as light as possilble except for added weight down low.

I actually have the HR case here in the shop. I have not installed it in anything yet though. The advantage I see is the lesser chance of stripping the mounting holes. I have never worried much about case flex, I ran the stock plastic case for quite awhile with a Pro4 and never had an issue.

At some point I will likely add the HR case to this truck, because in the end I'm still going to run out of things to replace on here

I ran the new tires today for the first time. I was very pleased with their performance! I think they will remain on this truck for the long run. I love my Pitbulls but these tires make me happy enough to look past wanting to change them out down the road.

We had a little timed scale run after our comp today. I shot some footage onboard the Wraith during the run

So the tires are comparable in performance to the R35 Ripsaws?

I like them just as much as the Ripsaws. I am really wanting to get some good foams in them though! The stock foams are undersized and too soft. Forward grip was excellent.

Good deal. I think 2 sets will be here tomorrow for me and I'll be taking one to Crawler InNovations in case he wants to double check his current offerings with them.

Thanks for reply regarding HR aluminum trans case. I love my R35 Ripsaws on Wraith and Honcho! Agreed the stock Wraith foams are too soft, I used some firm 2.2 buggy rears and cut up outer part of stock foams to make nice two stage foams and it helped a lot! I want to get some Crawler Innovations foams later though.

Dropped a tire off today with Crawler InNovations for foam fitting.

I too was able to view the video. Looks great. One question Harley, i order and received a bunch of VP Upgrades and installed them, with that order i also got the SLW HUBS to mount to the stock wheels, any idea where i can get 440 screws? I called Steve and he told me he was trying to set up a kit for sale for the SLW hubs, which of course we need 24, but i have yet to hear back from him, or even seen the kit for sale on VP site. Thanks in advance, mine is all VP full.....lololo. Only upgrade i need on mine will be, shocks, motor, esc. And i have not even ran it yet.
