| I was wondering when someone would say something about those. I only have two black SLW rings and my blue ones didn't look right on there I'm still waiting on the Mailman to bring my Futaba... I really liked using the 4pk that I ran at ECC though. It took a few days to get used to, but now I can't even imagine using a Dx3R with an MOA rig. The 4pk just unlocks so much more technique that just isn't there without mixing capabilities. Last edited by Del Monte; 05-06-2011 at 11:33 PM. |

From what Del took the little Losi too, mainly staying true to its stock form. I'm sure he has come to appreciate what the stock setup can bring. Now switching from the Losi to the XR, and seeing instantly what an advantage MOA is. I wouldn't be surprised to not see build #2 for awhile, instead of everyone saying they cant wait for build #2, can we first at least see the great setup he'll come up with on build #1? you never know, might amaze some to go back to a twin plate setup......But meh, what do I know, just my opinion.. Cant wait for the rest of this build Del... |

I jsut saw the xr10 for $203 on TCS and it made me consider buying one for a minute. then i thought, I'd still have to buy a 4 ch radio, bearing upgrade, trans cases, gears, chubs & knuckles, tie rod, battery mouint, servo guard, tires, a bodiless chassis, new links, 2 esc's, a dope servo, a servo guard.... *gasps for air* top link mounts, aluminum lockouts, axle brace, servo mount, wheels, shocks, foams... Did I miss anything? So I didn't order one. BUT if this buiild goes well, perhaps i'll reconsider. Last edited by TSK; 05-09-2011 at 05:10 PM.

if youre really interested in an xr i think if you did the bearing mod, got some rc4wd gears and replaced ur stock bearings in the case, youd be fine... thats not very expensive for this hobby. who says you need a 4 ch radio
