| I don't think there's any controversy is there? Wasn't talking smack, trying to start anything or even stir the pot. Just a friendly poke. My apologies if its turned into anything more than that Jake. I'll make ya CCC Jagerbomb Friday night before the finals.

I finally got out to the rocks for a little shock tuning today. After a few minutes of running, I realized that my initial setup just didn't feel right. I rebuilt the shocks with the stock bladders, 30wt oil in the rear shocks and 22.5wt oil in the fronts. I also added to the external limiters, they are now 10mm long on each shock. With the bladders installed, I was able to flip the rear shocks without any weird air bubble effects. Cool! Here's a quick video from today. I can't believe how easily it pulled up this. I can't wait to get this thing dialed in http://s628.photobucket.com/albums/u...DSCF0711-2.mp4 I'll be hitting the rocks a lot for the next few weeks. With the Socalrcrc finals, AZ Summer Shootout, and the AWCC looming in the near future, I've got a ton of tuning left to do. Now that I've got the shocks pretty close, its time to start working on the geometry. See you guys on the rocks |

I'm going to do my best to get the rig finished tomorrow/thursday and have a thread up next week. Work and life have been very limiting as far as time to do anything. you should see the pile of laundry we have developing, that could have a build thread of its own, haha. I'm pretty sure it's going to gain consciousness and morph into an unstoppable monster. that being said, I thoroughly loathe your avatar....

For our local stuff, you can't beat a worn in set of Boss Claws. For now I'm running them on .7 SLW's with 225 hubs in the front, and 350's out back. I have 5oz added to each front and nothing in the backs. I'm hoping that I can go a little lighter up front once I get the truck tuned in

The Axial ends with stock pivot balls don't seem to have a lot of travel before binding. Once I get the links figured out, I will probably swap them out for Revo ends and AL hollow balls.

did you put a nut on inside the gear box to hold the battery tray? it will come loose really easy if you just tried to thread the plastic

| I'm crushed. Whats wrong with a killer clown from time to time? A good buddy of mine painted that happy fella. Wait...you're not AFRAID of clowns...are ya Jess? I've got an arm full of tattoos to show ya...AFTER you judge my run of course. I didn't think Rescue Ninjas were afraid of ANYTHING. J.D. |

That was my second step. I used T-Maxx on the upper links and Revo's on the lowers. It worked out well. It took a lot of the slop out caused by the stock rod ends. I also used washers as shims beside the AL hollow balls. You will more than likely have to use some sort of shim/spacer at the frame on the upper links when using a straight rod end. Maybe 5mm at the most.

squeezing threw tight gates but enough stability when ya need it. Keep us updated on this. What foam setup have ya decided on in those claws? Do you have a different setup if not running any internal weight? I find that's where it gets tricky tuning a foam in with the claws. Thanks. Clean Clean.......
